Trinidad and Tobago Red Cross Society -
Creative Direction, Production & Media Strategy
Years: 2019–2022
Campaign Design / Collateral Design / Film & Photography
Between 2019 and 2022, SOLA Creative Studio served as the lead creative partner for the Trinidad and Tobago Red Cross Society, conceiving, scripting, producing, and editing a wide body of audiovisual content that spanned public education, volunteer recruitment, and humanitarian storytelling.
Our involvement extended across every phase of production—from research and concept development to directing, on-field coverage, and post-production. We produced national volunteer campaigns, informational features on the Red Cross’ mission and services, and a major series of public health communications during the COVID-19 pandemic. Each piece balanced clarity and compassion, translating complex humanitarian themes into human, visual narratives that informed and inspired action.
Members of our team received IFRC media training in humanitarian storytelling, ethical reporting, and crisis communication, enabling us to document emergency response work directly on the ground. Through this training and collaboration, we honed a practice rooted in sensitivity, accuracy, and respect for the communities represented.
Over the course of three years, SOLA became an extension of the Red Cross communications arm—shaping not just campaigns, but a visual language of care, integrity, and resilience that continues to inform the region’s storytelling approach today.
